Why Join UIG?

Education

UIG's training program is built to bridge the gap between academic finance coursework and the market knowledge and technical skills expected in finance recruiting. Coursework emphasizes valuation and accounting principles, with regular office hours to support members as they build those skills.

Hands-On Experience

UIG prides itself on offering students the opportunity to invest in the public markets. Members learn by doing, researching and pitching ideas with real capital behind them, and have the opportunity to compete in investing competitions.

Recruiting

UIG prepares members for roles across investment banking, equity research, and sales & trading. The program has also served as a pipeline for members into opportunities such as IBIS, the ASU SIM Fund, ASU Enterprise Partners, and the REIT Portfolio Practicum.
